Imperial Shuttle Tydirium

Sorry if i have to chime in here. Guy was'nt you the one to get all the shuttles over to Europe for a better shipping quote? I am still waiting to be contact about the shuttle kit by REL, have had no infos about it yet.

Again sorry but this is very confusing.

Philip

Shipping was also very cheap in my opinion, around $78 for 2 shuttle kits & a pod all in one large box with plenty of packing inside. Considering it cost me £146 to send my Probe Droid to australia with relevant insurance it is a bargain. If we had gone with the bulk shipping it would still cost $45-60 from the UK & the wait time will be much longer, I only think it would've worked if they were all distributed in the same country? :unsure

Rich, just checking on these parts below that are circled, do they come with the kit or are they to be scratched, I dont think they were included & they're not visible on the the kit layout on a previous page?

Cheers Guy

Great! :) I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with your shuttles Guy. You're doing lights right? Any motors? If you have any questions that you think I may be able to help you with...just ask.

Neil

Thanks Neil, I have a feeling there will be a stream of emails coming your way :)

I am going to tackle lights for the first time, no motors though thats a little too adventuress at the moment.

No worries Guy. I'm looking forward to seeing your builds mate.

Hi Rich, still no news on these kit parts? Do they need to be scratched or should they be with the kit? Cheers Guy

Sorry, didn't see that.

Those are styrene. I meant to include them in the kits but I guess I forgot.

I can send some out, or if you like post their shape so you can cut them yourself.

Thanks Rich, I think I am going to need a couple of replacement parts so maybe send them together. I'll let you know which parts asap.

Thanks Guy

Anyone besides Guy getting this kit?

Indeed! :D This is one that just can't be passed on. Both Neil and Richard are to be congratulated on this great kit! Bob is chomping at the bit to get going on it! :D According to the email I received... the beastie kit will be here by Aug 15.... just a week and a half! SWEEEEEET!

I wish to thank Richard, Dana... and Neil for their work on this project in getting it out to everyone! GREAT JOB! (y)love:thumbsup

MY KIT ARRIVED!!!!

Let me state that this kit ROCKS! It looks like plastic injected! CRISP... and CLEAN!!! There are a few parts still en route to me but I have to compliment all involved... from it's creator Neil, to it's kit designer Richard... and to Dana... the person who laid up, cast it, and delivered it timely! Pure professionalism to the last! :D

As soon as the other parts arrive I will be sending them to the shop to be built! I can't wait!

I received my kit as well. Its beautiful and big. I'll post some pics as soon as I get a chance.

Here are a few pics of Rich's model. I've just set the parts on top of each other, hence they look unaligned.

This should be a challenging build, but that is what makes this fun. Other than replacing the cast barrels with brass amd a few minor air bubbles that should be easy to fill the kit is perfect. Thanks Rich!

GREAT photos Isel! Looks like the casting is very consistent between your kit and mine.... most excellent! Quality control is on top of things over at Sovereign Replicas! :D

Man I pumped up about this piece.... very nice! :D

Hi Rich,

Hope you are doing well. Any updates on the kit. Haven't received your email reply, look forward to hear from you.

Thanks,
Lawrence
