I dont know if Ive told you before, but you sir are a DISGUSTINGLY talented individual! :)

Best Ive ever seen.

Wow.

:confused

Neil,

That is truly a work of art. I can't imagine how Version 2 will be better, but I'm looking forward to seeing it take shape!
Your display looks superb!

Cheers,

Chris

that looks beautiful, I wish i had your skills. then again i never tried anything like this so maybe i do and just dont know it yet. lol

again great work

:$ Thanks for the kind words guys. This has been great fun to build. I am really happy with the model, considering. If only the cockpit was a touch smaller and the secondary wings a little longer. Oh well. I have plenty to tweak as I start some proper drawings to work from (for a change) for v2.

eagle1, The Falcon was scratched (except for the cockpit interior and dish). I am going to be replacing improvised parts on her for years to come I think. :)

Cheers

Hi mate, just trawlin through some old threads and found an older one of yours that has pics of your falcon and numerous other models. All i can say is that you are truly awe inspiring and your attention to detail and finish is second to none. I love your falcon, i guess you can go on forever tinkering with it just like Han Solo ha, ha. Just think with your skills and dedication (and possibly access to that wonderful workshop) you could knock out a 5ft falcon in what, say 3 months?.
Again thanks for sharing your work mate.
Kindest regards
Stu:lol

That stand looks smart Neil. And the shuttle is something else! I like the head too, looks very lifelike. I didn't realise you could use the workshop for £5 an hour, thats good to know. Whens the end of year show open to the public?

Steve.

Cheers Stu!!

Steve,
Thanks mate. Yeah, you need to register as a Hertfordshire artist with faculty reception and then you can use the fascilities. It is mainly for the holidays, but you can arrange something during term time with Ian/Pete/Richard. The show opens on the 23rd.

Neil

AWESOME!!!!!

Can't wait till you offer kits of your V2, BTW what color and paint did you use?

Finally back online and at my new address (most of the week anyway). Still spreading myself between the shires and SW London though. I can't believe I haven't checked in here for almost a month. Damn.

GF, I used Tamiya Insignia white. (AS20, I think) It does look a little bluer in the photos than with the eye.
