Imp. Officer/guard belt boxes

I know these were metal project boxes, but does anyone know the dimensions of the boxes used in ANH? I remember a thread some time ago. Someone was working on a prototype for production, but the thread died I guess. I've come across a site that carries boxes that look right, assuming that they carry a box in the correct (or close enough) size.
