Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus Costumes

I still need to make a few modifications as you can see in the comparison shot.

And yeah, I know the tie is an ascot in the movie, I just liked this one for its pattern and texture. :)

In addition to those, I think the brow needs to be more pronounced - furrowed down a bit more in the center and up a bit more over the eyes. Looks excellent, though! Did you make it from scratch?

I did not build it myself. I modified a traditional Italian made "zanni" plaster mask. Once I get it to my liking I'll add a clear coat and post complete costume pics. Still on the hunt for a suit that will work.

:)wow..that's pretty kool....yeah i have been looking for that mask to see if i can buy it somewhere, but i cant find it anywhere...i guess i have to make it..:confused

now where can i find that Tie

Edit:
WOH! i just realized
its an ascot, not a tie
that makes my life easier, that material should be easy to find

I hear the DVD comes out April 27th.

Sorry to revive a thread, but I've actually managed to find a really great "tony mask"/Zanni mask from a leather worker called Kell Dragon off eBay, I'll post pictures when I can, I'm real happy with mine, its got great shape to it.

Am I the only person who can't find anything white to wear? :lol

Lookin' good mate! :D

EDIT - But it's sorta creepy how the Mad Hatter is waiting down the hall. :lol :p ;)

Soul, that looks fantastic!

Any tips on the suit ... your's looks phenomenal. Off the shelf, or you make it yourself?

I second that question. ;)

It's sorta funny...Because when I did the above Tony pics, I had never seen the movie ever. Well, it never came around here; I don't know when it came out on DVD, but I went out of town yesterday and found it. :D So last night I had the chance to watch the first hour...And to be very honest...I sorta freaked me out because it was like "OMG, he's copying me!!!!" :lol
