Wow, there's more practical effects than I'd anticipated

Because I needed a sharks jaws for the window shot why not print the ORCA set at full scale. Looking forward to painting these. they took all weekend to print, so it will have to be next weekend.

I went to far past the point of being happy with the paint job. I was very happy with it but thought it needed a bit of gray, like always never test anything just dive right in, I ragged on some gray knowing I was going to over spray it back to white before going in with the darker colours again. Well I missed the sweet spot and it’s all become a mess. This is only for 1 shot so it’s OK if it’s camera ready ie over done.

Looking at it here as a photo I might get away with a clear coat and some umber washes, it’s not as pink in real life.

Just getting my head around the insanity of this project I’m about to start. I have a week off work so plan on building the hull frame. It too big for my house but it’s an itch I have to scratch.

I’m thinking of using a dewalt brushless drill for the motor as 18 batteries are something I have plenty of,
Need to go through all the 3D printing I did before Christmas.
