If you miss LOST like I miss LOST...

Apparently the Barracks are a youth hostel, and the Temple is some sort of standing structure. They give tours; next time I go to Hawaii, I'm bringing my Dharma spacesuit. :)

If this doesn't get the ball rolling for a Hawaiian holiday, nothing will.

TONS to see

and yeah, very well done production. wooden acting.

Thanks for keeping Lost alive LY.

They dont seem to understand the shooting style of the show. But it was interesting to see the sets again.

It made me want another season. :)

Really? Another season of unanswered questions, more questions that have no relevance to what previously happened and a plot that has no pay-off....no thanks.

I watched this trainwreck of a show and I for one am glad it is gone.

Actually, I quite enjoyed the unanswered questions - it was MUCH better than having them answer them. The questions they DID answer in the final season were pretty horrific. In fact, I wish I could just delete season 6 entirely from memory and leave it with Season 5.

Part of the magic of the show, and, indeed, any good narrative, is keeping your imagination going and constantly wondering what's going to happen next. Sometimes the best payoffs are the ones that don't payoff in the end.

Before I started watching Lost, I refused to take on any new shows that had a continual storyline because I got burned (Deadwood, Carnival, etc.) by networks canceling the show before it was concluded. The moment I heard there was only going to be 6 seasons, I gave in and started from the beginning. Now, I wish they had cancelled it before Season 6.

Sounds like you weren't paying attention. :) I can't say that I, as an audience member, was completely happy with the last season in general or the finale in particular, but I got a massive amount of entertainment for their hard work for six years so that's gotta mean something in the annals of pop culture.

The finale payoff was a little crunchy-granola and foreshadowed in the third episode, so viewers paying close attention were dreading it for six years, but, still. They were LOST, man; said so right on the tin. :lol

The finale made sure the entire series was dead for me, never to be revisited again. Much like new Battlestar.

I love Season Four, so much: the mercenaries, Lapidus... Alex, the eye color changes, everything. And even me, a huge, huge LOST fan as it was going on, can only rewatch episodes with what I can only call an intellectual detachment. I can appreciate the twists and turns; I love the acting (mostly hee hee). I appreciate the design and the craft... but knowing the finale is just a great big you're-still-in-bed-with-Suzanne-Pleshette lessens the achievement, for me.

Kate is still dreamy and Lapidus is still the man, though. :)

Yeah, maybe you're right. I guess I'm that guy that doesn't need/want to disect a TV episode after it's aired. I am definitely not the type of viewer that wants to have to read blogs, websites and rewatch episodes to find accidentally hidden clues layered throughout 6 six years of episodes to try and figure out what the hell is going on and hoping that this week the writers actually worked out a plot line, instead of stringing us along in a non-linear path of unending questions. But hey, that's just me. :wacko
