I bought a David from Lost Boys bust from Iceman-1 on ebay a few weeks ago and have never encountered such a crap seller in all of my life (and I've encountered some crap ones in my time). I paid for it on the Friday and, prior to agreeing the sale, he responded to emails with 3 or 4 hours at worst. As soon as he received payment... nothing. He said he would post on Saturday 3rd or Monday 5th at the latest and that he would email me the tracking number straight after that. None of this happened. I emailed him several times and heard nothing. Eventually he said he would get the tracking number but the post office was closed (If he had already posted the bust, why did he not have the tracking number?). A few days later he said that he was very busy so would ask his wife to email me the tracking number (too busy to email me a 13-digit tracking number?)
What is the reason for this post? Well, if this prevents someone else avoiding having any dealings with this idiot then it will have been worthwhile. I have filed a dispute with Paypal and will be reporting it to my credit card company as well as the police. I don't know whether the guy is just useless or is a dishonest crook but if you do think of buying from him, think twice. Has anybody else had dealing with him?
