I need confirmation as to the thickness of the Tricorder Mark X

I am constructing a battery space/ electronic mock up and I woul like to confirm with those guys that HAVE a mark X Tricorder, the "thickness" of the Tricorder.

The Tricorder that I have simply cannot fit a aaa battery holder in WITH the electronics and I have to believe my Tricorder brought from eBay is canon in measurement.

Mine measured 2.7cm.

Please confirm this with me

The thicker part of the electronics side is 1 1/8 on the upper high peak and the thinner part is 3/4" There are 3 AAA's, one sits in under 2 in the deeper section of the tricorder

The Top portion is enough.
