I decided to build a clean version of the reissued Revel/Monogram kit that came out. It's coming either today or tomorrow and I was looking at my "too damned white" Joyride Viper and got an idea...."Why not do a practice run?":love
So, in preparing for when my Revel/Mongram reissued kit comes either later today or tomorrow, I took apart my white Joyride Viper and painted the main color light aircraft gray. I detailed the exposed engine pipes copper and painted some black detail on the guns. I also made sure that the intake fans, exposed engine detail (It's all one form fitting rubber piece!), and burner cans were removed.
I think it turned out fantastic!! Now to let the paint cure for a couple of days before masking it off to paint back the markings.
What do you guys think?
