Yup I admit that I am addicted. 
So, the journey started last year, on 12th October to be exact when I was just browsing on you tube to look for some costumes and wanted to put together a costume for Halloween. That’s when I came across “The Predator Comic Con” invasion and I was just dumb struck I couldn’t believe what I was watching. And at the end of the video there was a link to “The Hunter’s Lair”, which I simply couldn’t resist to click. That’s when I signed up for this amazing website thinking that I will just get some pointers on how to build an awesome Predator Costume and get over it. The Halloween party I had to go to was on 30th October, which gave me an 18 day period to put together the costume. I saw multiple pictures and tutorials from different members on how to put everything together and sure enough I thought that, “It will be a piece of CAKE” and Boy, Was I wrong……………lol. I started building the costume on 13th by going to different stores and picking all the things needed to put it together. I honestly have never been involved in something so deeply in my entire life as I was in putting this together. Long story short, on October 29th at 8:30 PM sharp and with the help of some amazing people here who answered my stupid questions, I was done with the costume. According to my woman who helped me tremendously in the whole process, the costume came out awesome but deep inside my heart I knew that it is not even close to what I have seen on here
Went to the Halloween party on 30th and to my surprise I was the centre of attraction and every single person in the club was all over me for pictures and what not and Surely I won the best Costume award.
Now almost a year later, I am back on here and trust me this time it’s just different experience I am having here. I simply love it. I am like a kid in a candy store when I am on Hunter’s Lair. I haven’t turned off my computer in days and I am stuck on this website by going on different sections and just browsing the achievements of so many talented people here. I am somewhat OBSESSED with the Predator……………lol. I have ordered diff Predator and Alien figures and just bought the Alien vs. Predator DVD Set……hahahah If that’s not addiction I don’t know what is.
Now I think I have enough motivation and courage to give another shot on making the costume. I think I will be starting soon. Planning on getting together with some fellow Hunters here in Southern California (if possible). I will be dressed as the Giger Alien this year and have recently ordered the kit from monsterroom and will be posting the pictures of the progress as I go
PS……………….Can someone make an app for The Hunter’s Lair already because I am sick of sitting next to my laptop all day……….hahahahha. Just curious. Lol
