How to wear the Iron Boots

Hello all,

I'm a little perplexed at how I wear the Iron Man Mark III boots. I'm using Robo3687's file (nearly identical to Zabana's) and I noticed there are empty spaces in the heel and toe boxes. I'm not sure how to fiberglass or wear the entire boot. Won't a person's weight cause the heel and toe boxes to collapse? If there is anyone who has built Robo or Zabana's boot, please reveal your secrets!

I'm sitting with the same issue. I've just completed the boots and was considering sealing off the soles, applying fibreglass and then filling the boot's lower section with resin... but I'd also like to hear/see if there is another way of doing it.

I tried filling the cavity with insulation foam, but that didn't work as well as I'd hoped.

I made only the side and the tops of the boots in three pieces and bonded them with hot glue to a pair of slip on hiking boots with a tall heel. You can barely see the boots and I painted them the same color as the armor. Comfy, durable and no one is the wiser!

I thought of taking a page from nikes earlier build. Making a mold and melting rubber except not with a waffle iron...GM
