Question How to stop the iPad app popup

I use my Ipad sometimes to access the RPF. Ea h time I go to a new forum, or sometimes a new thread, I get a popup that there is an Ipad app with an option to ok or cancel. When I cancel, it goes away but comes up over and over as I go through the forums. If I click ok, takes me to store to buy the app for $2.99.

Do not want to pay for an app as I can navigate here fine without it.

How do I get this to stop popping up over and over?

Thank you,
Brandon

Looking into it, should have an answer soon.

You...

1. Have a bad cookie... Solution: purge your RPF cookies reboot and get new ones...

2. Safari is are not accepting or is dropping the op-out cookie, likely because it's a 3rd party cookie or not an 'RPF kosher' cookie... Solution: Make sure Safari is set to 'Always' accept cookies vs the default 'From Visited' setting...

It's my belief the repeat problems with Apple mobile products and this pop up originates because Mobile Safari is default to only accept cookies from the primary visited site, not linked 3rd party cookies or what it deems 'suspicious' for whatever reason... So your op-out click isn't being saved in a cookie like it should be...

Ya might check pop-up blocker on yor iPad.
Go to Settings-->Safari-->Block Pop-ups.

Mine is turned on by Default and I don't recall ever getting a message about an App.
I did on my iPhone4 once...never again.
