Hi all,

As the title say, how to eradicate some lime traces on a resin replica without raise the paint job ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated ;-)

Many thanks

:confused I don´t know what you´re talking about Fred :confused

Do you want to get rid off (=erase) glue on a painted surface or what?
Sorry, but the sentence doesn´t make any sense to me :$

Hi Markus,

Sorry, I took some words from my dictionnary to be clear to everyone and in fact...that's the opposite effect ;-)

You're right : in fact, I would like to erase glue from a painted resin replica....so simple with these words

Hope it's OK now

Thanks
FRED

Did you mean raze/rase?

If you are talking about lime scale you may want to try some white vinegar.

Edit: You posted a clarification and it seems you are talking about glue, so never mind.

No problem, I didn´t want to sound like a smartass ;)

Back on topic...
I´m no expert, but I guess it´s pretty impossible to get rid of glue on a painted surface WITHOUT harming it.

It might be useful to post a pic of what you´re talking about.

Hi Markus and thank you for answering.

I'm trying to explain : take for example a painted X-wing or BSG Viper. You had to glue the wings on the spaceship but there are some glue falling off on the painted spaceship.....(yes, I know...an amateur work...)what can you do to raise the glue from the painting without harming it ????

You say that it might be impossible and I begin to worry....:)
