the sticker side is black.. i dont think it would be more accurate this way... im going to make a try with fabric mesh today.. i'll post pictures as soon as it's done.
still have to find a bottle who gaves me a nice dome as salvetat did for jeck

I like the adhesive... But would prefer it inside the lense... Its just about taste.. Urs look really good! Ijust need to find the right bottle to the dome effect and ill show u what i did.. Ill spray the blue directly on the fabric mesh and stick it to the plastic inside.

Dude that's amazing, is the perforated vinyl is still on top of the acrylic?

Hey jeck, again great tutorial. I got some bottles I can use for this. However, do you have any tips on how to curve the shapeways lenses? I tried to curve my lenses. Here is what I did: I glued them to my hero toy mask. I used a hair dryer to heat them up enough to bend easier. Then I glued them in the curved position. Then I ran it under cold water to cool it down. Then I used a knife to cut them off again. But once I cut them off the mask...the curve shape disappeared lol. Any tips?

I do exactly the same thing as you ! Glue, use hair dryer, and cold water ! And finally, my frame retake the position with ambient temperature ... My advice, recast the shapeways lenses in different material! Or get Tjack Frame ! Is the best, but don't use hair dryer with Tjack frame, I advice hot air gun !

Hi dude, I have a company on few mile of my house who work on car's publicity, they use a perforated White adhesive, I asked if they had the possibility to given to me a sample !
You can find easily on internet many company, send a mail for ask if they had a sample for you ( normally it's free )

Do you mean eventually your frames went back to being flat shaped? If so, I will need to purchase Tjack frames or from another source! Thanks again Jeck!
