HaHaHa...what's a wig sock?..sorry I don't know..is it something a fancy dress shop will sell or is it the bag a wig comes in?

I use a fabric swim cap (spandex) same idea as the wig cap, they have them at dollar stores here in Ontario anyway. If its urethane go easy with it.

depending on what it is made of it should stretch plenty to get on. There is alot of stretch in cowls. Ur head is right in that size range that many cowls will be just right or too tight.

You guys are great..I have ordered the wig sock and a extra thin motorcycle balaclava to try..I don't know what it is made of (I should do I know..I will try and find out!)..If I get the thing on at Christmas..( It's a Christmas present)..I will take a photo to show my appreciation!!

This Cowl looks like one from J.D. from his new mold, so it is made from high quality industrial latex,
and this means it will flex, and you will get in well. I use talcum (Baby powder) to get in it,
I first put the powder in my hairs and on my face, also inside the cowl, then it is easy to put it on.
Take care that you dont inhale the powder!

A little dab of KY Jelly around the opening also works really well. Seriously. :)

Thanks everyone...will the talc powder damage the latex (take the moisture out of it)?...I guess the KY jelly would be o.k as it is designed for lubricating!!:lol:lol but even that might damage it...I should have the hair sock today or tomorrow....should I go Sock or Talc or KY..or sock and KY or sock and talc. :confused :confused..It really does feel small but I,m sure i'll get it on but I do want to get it off again without damaging it..Thanks again..

talc wont damage the latex. latex will rot over time but that is due to the acids in your sweat.

I have a rather large head. To get my cowl on, I just wet my hair and the inside of the cowl with water. It slides on very easily.

LOL, KY will be fine. It's water based so it won't harm latex; that's the "pleasure" of using it. :p
