How many ANH E-11s are there?
This monday I finished a drawing of the E-11 (one of them anyway). I based my research for this drawing on information found on the Parts of Star Wars site.

My drawing isn't an exact version of one of these, But has parts from several of them.
But it got me thinking, is the list on the site complete?
Are there other small variations? A member mentioned colored wires in stead of black.

If we here could make a list of all the variations, my goal is to draw all of them. I hope the major ground has been covered with this first drawing. And the rest should be color variations, alternate hengstler logos, different scopes, smaller sterlings perhaps due to it being a cast and not a real fire arm.

Would any of you care to share your knowledge?

First drawing.

The first three where easy with the parts I already had drawn.

Thank you!
The one with #1 is definitely missing from my list. A very odd version indeed. Also the one in the linked thread that Luke's holding also with a pour stub on the scope.

I thought all the wires, when present, were red and green. I don't recall seeing any color photographs in which they were grey/black.

Pretty sure that is a Return of the Jedi blaster

Yes, but is it also the same version that was used in the 1997 Special Edition?
If so it could get included in a ANH lineup, although it would be on a technicality.

Personally I don't like it. It lack the charm of the the originals of ANH. There are just to many parts added to the MGC Sterling. And many of these are large and crude. Making the scope solid, removes some of the elegance.

Hi - Great drawings! :)

I made this table of every E11 variation in ANH that has visible Power Cylinders.

(E11s without Cylinders aren't on it because it's for my Power Cylinders thread on FISD:
3 central "fuses" on E11 Blaster Cylinders? - Page 22 - ANH BlasTech E11 - First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment - Page 22 )

It's a work in progress & some of the info is my best guess & may get changed but I give screen times for people to verify my info.

Hope it helps with your project. Cheers, Andy

Hi ANDY
That is an amazing piece of research there! :thumbsup
This is very helpful.

I've also made the weird Frankenstein from the chronicles.

Not sure where this one fits into the line-up. This the prop touring in the current Star Wars exhibit.

That looks like a Model Gun Corporation ROTJ conversion

I've made this assembly guide, just for the fun of it :D

That's very, very cool! :)

Just a couple of details I hope you don't mind me highlighting: You've written "options are on or of", instead of "off" & you've missed off the sprung plate that allows the butt to fold back down (it'd be visible in the roughly triangular hole on the butt)

Again, really fantastic work!

Cheers, Andy
