How do you prefer your Pulse Rifle? Brown Bess 46, O.D. Green 43, What? 24

Wanted to see what members think about certain prop colors. You know, what is seen on screen vs the actual color used.

OD Green all the way, BB looks good from a angle in a certain light, but I just love the green!

I agree 100%. I voted brown bess but thats how I did my 1/6 PR. OD with the brown lightly on top

I'm really surprised by the results. As anal as most of us are ("I must aquire that little, tiny screw in the clamp of the Graflex! Has anyone identified it yet?") I'm really shocked that all of you don't want the screen used color, BB. :confused

I had my MR CE Stormtrooper bucket and the recent DFW prop party. I was ready to have to defend myself for showing up with it. However, much to my surprise, I got a lot of good comments about it. It's no where near screen accurate, but it's a really nice helmet for $115 including shipping.

We certainly have some sticklers for accuracy on the board, but i think we just as many in the "close enough" camp. The sticklers just tend to be more vocal. I try to keep my replicas as accurate as my budget allows (hence the MR CE TK bucket :lol)

I like Testors Model Master Flat Olive Drab. Not too green, not too brown.

Brown Bess always looks really "brown" to me. Like some of the others I prefer what I thought I saw on-screen.

Well, to me, some things are just not worth going through the trouble to fix one miniscule little detail that is a pain in the ass to fix, but if it's as simple as a repaint in the correct color, I'm doing it.

Sure to us it's accurate but to most regular viewers it looked green on screen so it should be green in their eyes. Not everything that is screen accurate is desirable -

I used to like the green that some people used on their Pulse Rifles, but as the Brown Bess was gradually discovered and applied, it's grown on me.

So I voted for Brown Bess just because it will be screen-accurate and I'm so used to it that the green looks strange to me.
