You must manually change your theme in order for the software to remember your preference. Using the quick drop down on the bottom left of the page will only be temporary and will revert to the default site theme every time you log out and in. To manually change your theme, do the following:
On the top left of the site, click "User CP"
On the left under "Settings & Options" click "Edit Options"
At the very bottom of the page under "Miscellaneous Options" and "Forum Skin" select the drop down to...
Additional themes are being developed, starting with a brown background theme. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your patience!
*forum default theme might change from the dark Star Wars theme to the white background theme soon

- "The RPF Standard" (a white background theme) or
- "Star Wars" (a black background theme)
