I don't know the rules and I've never seen the show but the concept is interesting. I'm sure it's against the rules but my first impulse would be to build an RC robotic platform for a .50 cal and equip it with a directional RC signal jammer.

ive only seen one commercial for the new show but it looks like you can have flying/hovering drones?!? I used to watch the original battle bots alot. and it was pretty damn cool back then.... someone could dominate the round and end up losing because of a burnt out chip or batteries dying. it was a last man standing tourney, if you were the only bot that could still move you would win. im looking forward to what they can build NOW!!
