I think the dreads turn blue in the same manner as when humans age, their hair gets white.

Correct, but in P2, his hair was going grey. Not blue, like in AVP.

someone should make a base of like part of the P2 ship at the end of the movie for the P2 , P2 elder and hopefully the harrigan figure from hot toys!. It would look great all put together and posed.

Another addition arrived today. Got my Hot Toys Elder Predator.
The P2 Elder is my absolute FAVORITE Pred character, so this is a great piece to add to the collection.

The detailing on this is fantastic, including Raphael Adolini's name on the flintlock!
And it looks great right out of the box.

There are a couple of small details that keep it from being perfect though. It's missing the cannon mounted laser sight the Elder had in the movie.
It's also missing a sheath for the sword. But, all in all, I couldn't be happier...once I got it put together!
