hot toys predator 1 mod updated

hi ,dont know if any one els thought this but when i got my predator one from hot toys , i was kinder gutted to see he looked like he was given a bad hair day by sweeney tod. so i modded this and bought it back to life . i have seen the film a million times and its never that short. secondly his eyes on his mask where kind of plastic and (mesh)?. which i thought he had more of a one way mirror effect there. , please your thoughts on this..?

the dreds came off a pred 2 lost . They where mix with some predator 1 dreds to get the different layer effect.
As for the eye's moto bike visor / mirror screens are great easy to use . they are about £10 to buy new but there are other things that might work

ya i definitely had to mod all over my hot toys P1 pred, had to remove all the dreads pretty much and re-glue them accordingly, it was like they glued them all on while he was laying down or something, so stupid. i had to straiten his wrist blades they were damn near at a 45 degree angle from where they come out, ridiculous, and completely impractical. the mask needed a widening, haven't went as far as the dremeling that some people have done ( i dont like to damage the parts unless it's extra) even the "open" mandibles were not very open so of course i had to open those up a little to, to get that angrier predator look. anyway sorry about the ramble, im just letting you know i feel your pain. we all waited years for this to come out and while it was way above some of the other hot toys preds as far as paint up and general care for the construction, they still got a couple things wrong... oh well, half the fun IMO is making them better through whatever methods we've all figured out. the whole point was i want my lenses to shine like that. i fixed an old masked mcfarlane pred by adding some super shiny paint to liven the eyes up but those lenses were flat, in this case there's that stupid mesh to deal with. im slightly unemployed at the moment so even a ten euro set of moto goggles is more than i can pay right now i want to get a separate P1 head to add all the quills to ( ive got about 20 to 30 extras from when i bought some off ebay a while back) so if i want to display him without the mask he can look badass! and then ill probably permanently fix the mask to the other head. ah!!! it never ends! not having a job, ive got way too much time on my hands... i need a new project... anyhow, NICE JOB ON THE MODS BRO!

hey thanks i have recently changed the mask to more mirror shine effect. if your low on money this mod is cheep as chips. go to ebay look for window silver tint and buy a sample . This will set you back 1 GBP for a 10 by 10 cm mirror tint , thats plenty you could do 10 bio's . then find some plastic for the visor. simple.....

now thats probable, thanks man! cause my P1's lenses are pissing me off, i was just gonna paint it and hope for the best but, well, thats just not gonna be good enough, thanks for the ideas bro!
