Hot Toys Classic Predator from predators movie.

I don't know if I could justify buying this. I like my Neca 1/4 more.

Yeah, the NECA 1/4 are cool but you don't get interchangeable heads and alot of accessories with them. Did you see that NECA will be releasing the 1/4 Jungle Hunter w/ Gort Bio?

That, to me, says NECA is pulling a fast one. All they need do is sculpt a new head and add something new to it and call it... well, a new figure.

It should be the Elder.

$197-$200 elsewhere.

I'm definitely getting the exclusive from SSC, but I'll wait a couple weeks until all of my reward points clear.

I don't.. Sure this is alot better but they are still selling for 500 bucks on eBay and people out there will still pay.. If I had one I'd be cheering, bcos I could sell it and it could fund 2 more preds including this one..

Uuuuh... first off, this isn't a thread about Iron Man or Joker, or whatever else outside of PREDATOR.

Second, Yeah... a lot of companies do it. Look at McF, he is the king of repaints, and using the same molds for his figures. He would release 5 versions of the same figure with just a different deco.

So what are you trying to say bub? That my statement was unfounded? I am simply saying that you do NOT get all the goodies with a NECA figure like you do a SSC/HT's. Simple and as plain as that.

Also, you get at least two different heads sometimes with a PREDATOR SSC/HT's figure instead of having to buy three of the same 1/4 NECA PRED just for the different head sculpt.

Are the Hot Toys Predators in scale with their human figures? They don't look very tall in the pics. That's what's been keeping me from getting one.

Thats it! That figure is so sold! lol and i STILL haven't got Berserker, Falconer or Tracker yet. May have to get all 4 of them later this year at some point! That would be a day i would never forget lol...

I believe (and somebody correct me if I am wrong) that most Hot Toys figures in 1/6 scale are 12". The Predators are 14", making them bigger than human kind.

Here our friend is 14" Classic Predator
and here; Alice from Resident Evil is 12" Smokin hot Jovovich

If you are referring to my post above yours, all of the Super Preds were 14", and the Classic is advertised to be 14" in the production run.

If you are NOT referring to my post, then my mistake, but I have no way of knowing since you quoted no one

ya their preds tower over there human figs (except the damned P1, still taller but not how it should've been, like 1/2 inch or so below there other preds )

anyway i trust they did not make that mistake with this one, i believe half the problem with their first P1 was, along with the new chest sculpt (which was slightly smaller) they also shortened the gap between the top and bottom halves, also making him a little shorter still.

but ya, this ones mine, i just might sell my NIB ex. P1 now that this is coming out...

I always thought the best thing about the old hot toys was the heads, so if you could pop the old head onto the new pred it could look quite good=]
