Just got him a few days ago. Here's a few observations from a a new Pred-head newbie....
Negatives: Head peg issues here as well. Was detached while in the box, had to put it back on. Really takes LOTS of scary force to push it on. I think I would pass out if I broke it. I'm 6'4, 260 lbs. Wife says it was a Kodak moment, watching me wrestle with my Pred... Scraped the inside of the neckhole with an exacto knife in effort to try and make it a hair bigger. Lubed the peg up with hand lotion. Finally, seemed to be on, but fell off after the first pose. More fiddling, seems to be on now, but still have to be cautiously gentle with it.
At first, pose-ability isn't as good as the Berserker, Falconer, or the big Neca P1... but as I mess with it a bit, I see that it can still get into some pretty cool positions. The joints are all only mildly stiff. They move well enough, it's just that there's a sense of possibly tearing the netting if you try to move the arms or legs too much in one direction. The hip swivel is about 30 percent of the other figures I have. Head turn is impeded by the shoulder canon, big-time. Leg cloth at belt gets hung up or bunched up in hip joints while posing, but not a significant issue.
Positives: Fierce appearance. All mandibles are flawless. Almost no visible seams once installed. Stands in almost any position I put him in. Love the unmasked, closed mouth look. Love the attack position with mouth open. Love the masked, forearm-computer-gauntlet-checking pose. Wife now wants her own forearm gauntlet for her iPad.
Haven't had a chance to mess with the hologram or led's. Will play with that this weekend. Was thinking about getting the skull trophy belts or necklace on Ebay, but really like his clean look, so I'll wait on that.
Bottom line, great Pred!!!!!! Very glad I got him!
