Hot Toys Classic Predator from predators movie.

The Shadow Predator will be sold at Sideshow sometime in the future.

The Predators: 1/6th scale Classic Predator Collectible Figure will be firstly available for pre-order at Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong event starting from tomorrow! Fans can get a complimentary bonus accessory - the Predator skull upon pre-order at the event!

Toy Hunters VIP can select the bonus accessory or the 10% off privilege for pre-order at store after the event! The bonus accessory shall be picked up when the figure is available!

Warm reminder: Pre-ordering at Ani-Com shall commence after the exclusives selling session (estimated to be after 3pm tomorrow).

The price conversion is roughly $177 USD. Not sure if this will inflate when he goes up for PO in the States, or if Sideshow is also carrying that exclusive Super Predator skull, but things are looking up.

Oh... and anyone else notice he comes with those holographic globes for his left forearm gauntlet?
 
Still a big improvement by Hot Toys, that's for sure. New body, new headsculpt, new helmet, new... a lot of stuff.

$177's not too bad a price tag either, considering the Super Predators went for nearly $200 and we were originally expecting Classic to be pricier than Shadow (which will cost $225).

Its sounds good for the most part, i can see ebay selling those super pred skulls for 80$ though.Wow Im excited to add the classic to the P1 in the collection, i know the P1 was to short and the one i have the dreads are way to short.
But together i think they will look amazing!!!!
 
I'll be snagging one. Im in the process of selling most of my Gears of War collection. I told the wife I would stick to Predator related merch but got a little out of hand when the Gears lines started to hit.

I totally dig the base and accessories with it.

I was not complaining but I was saying that figure prices are getting higher everyday.
 
As do tickets for the theatre, movies and music. I agree that it is a steep price, and having the P1 and the beserker (which is the better sculpt for sure), and the NECA, I think I'll stick with NECA for now (and cross my fingers that all the P2's get a 1/4th release too).

Running out of space and money, and perhaps goodwill from my girl
 
haha cant you just smell the neca influence.. lowered price, switch out heads, better quality.. even if neca never succeed at creating a figure this good, atleast we know that their foot in the door of the industry is pressuring hot toys to do better for less=]
 
We don't know if those are switch-out heads. We're definitely getting two bio helmets, since the one at his feet is undamaged, but as for heads, I think the helmets just plug into the one head when the mandibles are removed.
 
Yeah I guess it could be for comparison, the way it's displayed in your product photo is very similar to neca's though, is what I meant.. Any ideas what those crystaline blue items below the feet are?

Those are "holographic" displays for the gaunlet.

Remember in the movie when the Pred pulled up a holo image of Earth for Royce...that's what those are.
