This video has gotten almost 12 million views on YouTube, and 1 out of 10 comments has been "looks like Ironman"
Because of how movies portray the middle ages and the renaissance, not many people realize, these guys in armour were, the real "Ironman", long before Stan Lee made him up.
Like Tony Stark, these guys back in the 15th & 16th century, were extremely wealthy, had all the cool toys, got the girls, had an impenetrable suit of armour, and could kick your ass. But in their case, that trained since a young age, and had superior fighting skills.

There is nothing modern in the design or function of this helmet, it is a very accurate copy of a late 16th century Greenwich armour, made in Greenwich England. In the example shown in the video, I have on the jousting visor, which was specifically designed for use in a tournament, against lances on horse.

Here is the full garniture. Like the modern Ironman suit, these armours had exchange pieces so you could optimize the armour for different roles on the battlefield or tournament. This is a smaller garniture, there were some with over 100 exchange pieces.
Like the original, this is all made from hardened steel.
