I ordered both from zenix. Just waiting on the Volvo panels from him; those and the han casting are the last parts I need.

I tried contacting Zenix about buying one of his boxes, but I was wondering if he could tweak it to make sure the
panels I'm printing would fit properly. He has not replied back. I sent him the file to check. I assume he cuts them from a cad
file. I'm thinking it would take very little time to tweak the file to match the printed panels. Then he would have that for others
that are printing their panels from those files.

His kit is really worth picking up. He has the correct taper to the sides and everything is set up for plug-and-play. Only thing is you have to router the edges.
I'd guess changing your print would be easier, if need be. (sanding/filing to fit)

Yeah. I definitely want one of his
boxes I just need to make sure my panels will fit. I'd hate
to think I'm spending all this time printing, sanding and painting these things to just break
down and spend the money to buy a set and start all over with the sanding, and painting.
Like I said. It should be an easy fix to change the panel opening in cad to the different
shape before cutting. He may not want to bother or his boxes are all precut.
If your panels don't fit why not fix them? Seems odd you want the guy to make his accurate box inaccurate. Also seems odd you want him to have to do the work of fitting your panels to his box rather then you making your panels fit his box. Smart thing would be to buy his frame and then make your panels fit it. This way if you ever decide to upgrade to real panels they will swap out.

I did not make the 3D model for the panels. I don’t have that skill level for modeling. That is why I am asking if the box can be tweaked. I know at least three other people using these files for there panels. They are very close as far as I can tell. The box may not even need to be changed. This is my question. I was hoping it was an easy thing if he cuts them to order to change the holes in CAD before cutting. I’m just a customer asking if it’s possible. If it’s not or too difficult I’ll make my own box. Nothing odd about it at all.
If you have a 3d printer, you must have 3d software for it. Doesn't it have a global scaling function?

Im not sure about global scaling. I can scale a model, but I’m not even sure the scale is wrong. I don’t have a real Volvo panel to compare it to. The shape may be a little different or the spacing between the tabs may be a little different. That’s part of my question. I wish there was a scan of the real panel. I really need an outline of the bottom. I guess I’ll need to do some more google searching.
If I were in your situation I would reach out to one of the many good folks here who have dashes for the external dimensions and then if its off put a WTB ad up for someone to scale the 3D model you have to the outer dimensions. It shouldn't take anyone decent at it to just do a global scaling to the outer dimensions. It shouldn't cost much and you may find someone to do it free as it cant take but a few minutes to enter length and width and let the software adjust the rest. That being said if you have printer and the software its a good time to learn to do it.

That should help. Thank you. It's still missing a couple or measurements I need like the space between tabs, but i should be able to figure it out. I think the total width at it's widest is 13 3/8", or do you think that is 13 7/8". It's hard to read.

Did he ever ship yours out?
I'm seeking a refund from him myself. Said he'd ship after 2 weeks, then last Monday, then Tuesday, then today; too many missed deadlines.
