I'll probably be out there at about 9am, any time after that is good. As for tools we'll be doing a lot of finishing work so a power sander and a dremel would be good if you have 'em (I have these already but more means that two can work at the same time).

The box will need finishing and the resin side panels will need cleaning up. That's the main goal for Sunday. :)

Sadly the weather wasn't cooperating so we didn't get as far as we would have liked but we still accomplished a lot! Thanks Gil & Neil. :thumbsup

Talk to much... Thats the fun of group builds! This was the first time we actually finished everything and had to kill time at the end... :facepalm

Spent about an hour tonight sanding and re-applying filler. I think I'm going to have a problem with one of the edges as it has just a little bit of flex that forms a crack in the joint. Bondo is a lot harder than filler right? Think if I cram that in the crack it'll seal?

LOL I can't believe I missed this thread lol. I'd come help but no pictures please lol. I'm not wanted or anything just cameras....... no lol. I have a bumload of tools and everything.

Did some sanding, a bit more putty, more sanding, then sealed and got one corner with primer to check it out...

There are definitely a few spots that I think need touching up but she's looking good!

Did a little Bondo work this weekend. Lots more to do. ;)

This coming weekend I was thinking of heading downtown to Wizard World on Sunday. Want Jeremy Bulloch to sign my ESB teaser poster and check out the rest of the show. Then maybe back for a few hours of work on HIC. Anyone care to join me? Went to Fan Expo last year with Neil and it made it much more enjoyable than if I had gone on my own. :)

Was totally off the radar last week, due to some craziness at work.
This Easter sunday had me missing standing in the cold of Mikes garage!

The HIC is looking great! She's really making moves towards being displayed! :)

Need to find some time for the video! I have yet to go threw the footage!

After Wizard Con yesterday I spent a little time applying what I hope is the last of the Bondo. Need to sand and prime and see where I stand. This weekend will hopefully see the pouring of the carbonite! (White glue). Then we get to start working on the side panels.

How do we feel about next open work day being April 22nd?

I may be able to make it Sunday, but it would be in the afternoon. Will get back to you on it! :)

Oh.. the video... yeah... Its a WIP... My big issue is that I grabbed some software, and.. hmm... its not doing what I want it to. So I have been trying to learn, build, and finish at the same time. Work has been getting in the way too.

You'll get something real soon... hehe!
