The owner got Brian Johnson to sign off on it, but otherwise no provenance is provided.
I find it hard to believe they'd use an MPC in that film. There aren't deep background or pyro X-Wings in ESB that would warrant not using one of their existing models.

It sure does, a replica of the weathering and everything, but not a perfect match - obviously shenanigans afoot.
