We love our Pizza Planet Truck plate from Celebrity Machines! We were lucky enough to get RES1536 registered as a vanity plate for the truck, but the replica is spot on.
Here is our California plate, up against the film's version:
In the Production Made props forum, a member has posted shots of Philo Beddoe's (Clint Eastwood) truck from Everywhich Way But Loose. Plate is a yellow-on-blue California plate with PHILO B
Another call for Gone in 60 Seconds plates - but for the one Eleanor tag on screen more than the others - 614 HSO. I think I bugged poor Travis through eBay for them last year:
Now that I have an almost-screen-correct Los Angeles City Ford license plate frame (they apparently made two or three different castings of these suckers, all different), I'm getting the itch for this plate all over again. You can put me down for at least two 614 HSO plates - and if it helps offset your production costs, I'm willing to get four.
For the record - not that it isn't particularly unknown - but 613 HSO, 820 FUA, and RMH-100 (NY) are also prominent tags in the film:
Hey everyone!
I'v seen it mentioned here a couple of times, also it was in the plate production plan earlier.
Licence plates on the truck in the movie "Duel"
I would really like to see this in the future as i would buy atleast 2 sets myself, but I guess the problem is that there is 7 plates on the truck by itself and the production cost would be high?
Those are stickers, :lol Those are not accurate. The company talked about in this thread does authentic, metal stamped plates with accurate registration stickers and extras.
