Tried that…it’s on super tight.

Seems to me like cooked paint...difficult to remove, but not impossible. Did you tried a steel brush attached to a drill? Look for a spot under the feet to see if the brush will not affect the metal first. If o.k., start where the paint is already gone and proceed toward the painted metal...it should go.

Stainless steel and brass brushes are recommended for aluminum. Aluminum is a softer metal and carbon steel will gouge and scratch it.
