Help with Neon Lighting project?...

Anyone know where I can get hold of 'neon string' or similar lighting that I can install under a grid-like display base? I need it to be AC powered (UK) - the only type I can find is the 'connect to your PC case' variety...

If eBay, what should I look for? I'm stumped.

ELF lighting won't suit you? I have used this with a DC adapter for arcade cabinet accents with good success. What diameter exactly? If thin, I would think the standard ELF stuff ("computer" would work well to your purpose and requires a basically a DC adapter.

Hi,

Have you tried RC car suppliers, they do neon tubes so you can "pimp" your RC car!! I used some for a display unit in the model store I run and managed to get them from a local RC shop (Yep belive it or not I'm in a UK town that has 2 model stores!!) they will run of a wall adaptor.
