Help with molding & casting marerials

anyone here familiar with molding and casting resins? Im going to be doing some pressure castings, and Im not familiar with the types/brands of resins and mold materials. Id like to get as many pulls as I possibly can from one mold, as well as obtain the smallest details. As for the resin, I dont like the hard glassie types. I prefer the softer types ,but yet will still allow me to get the small details in there. For distibutors/mfgs, Im in the US. any help would be appreciated.

I've heard a LOT of good things about the customer service at Smooth-On. They definitely seem to be worth a call, especially with the type of questions you've thrown out.
