I thought I'd try something really simple as a first project. A robot head mask loosely based on the Iron Giant robot.
It seemed so easy.... But I am not ending up with the right curves for the head's hemisphere.....
( grumble ) This attempt has been tweaked and adjusted to get it to look this good..... It was worse
before and still overall my best attempt of the night.
I'm wanting to use foam to make this simple robot head.
I might be willing to have some visible overlap and make it look intentional by adding faux rivets
along the seams, but I didn't think I would have to resort to that and I'm not ready to give up and
fall back to that solution yet.
What am I doing wrong or just simply unaware of in the way foam .... ummm.... bends?...works?
Or do I just need a better pattern?
