I'm finally going to make the plunge and start fitting the bull barrel on the Denix. I've heard so many different ways of fitting it, so I wanted to confirm.

Do i only sand/ file the bottom part of the Denix? Thank you

thd9791 documented what he did fairly well in his thread here, and it's pretty much what everyone else has done, too, when it comes to a Denix.

Yes, technically you're filing all the way around the gun barrel. You have to match the inside of the DEC bull barrel: The Denix shoulder is too thick for the bull barrel so the filing job is to reduce the size of the area underneath the bull barrel.

Thanks Tom, actually I missed your pics the first time, now I think I got it.

Edit- I'm a little slow some times but now that I read the original post and your reply (5 times each) I get what you mean. Underneath the bull barrel not just underneath the bottom side of the Denix barrel.

Thanks
