Help w/ Vader ESB armor!! -

Ok so I have been through several sets of fiberglass Vader Armor. I want a set of screen accurate aromor, but I don't want to go for like a set of GH Armor for the really big bucks.
I just got this set of the bay. I know many of you will recognize it, and the seller gave me a great deal, really came through for me, and it is a great set, but it isn't accurate, and I know that. Many of you Vader purists will be able to point out the flaws, but I want to know where to go from here.

This set looks to have very warped bells, so that they sit flush w/ the chest armor, which it is not supposed to. As far as I know they are supossed to hinge and go beneath the chest. It gives that giant football shoulderpad look. suggestions are more than welcome.

Hi , it really depends on what you plan on doing with the armor.
If its for trooping with, then it looks good enough.
For a display, the gh is what you really need. There are subtle differences on the depth of the neck line and a slight flair out on the bottom edges.

thanks for the reply chefhawk. I want to display the armor for he most part, but want to be able troop in it as well if I would like to. The bells on this armor don't move at all really because of the way they are fitted, so even for trooping this armor looks funny, even on big body. They have the football pad look to the extreme. The bells don't sit down on the shoulders like they should ue to the lack of movement.
I know the GH differences you speak of, but is there anything out there that is sort of between what I have here and a GH? minus the shoulder bell problem?

Honestly it looks good enough for both trooping and display.

Most of the upper armor is covered by the cloak/cape any way.

If your unhappy with the bells, remove them and re-attach with belt leather.

If you want a screen accurate set of armor, my best advice would be to save up for it (that's what I did). The armor you have now is decent and will work for you in the interim until you have enough to spend on that GH armor.

I saw a set of GH on the bay sell in the 300-400 range just a few weeks ago.

well if anyone has any leads that would be great. I have seen some GH helmets on the bay, but no armor, at least not listed as GH anyways, but i could be wrong.
