help please to clean battle damage off T800 life size statue

I have 2 battle damged versions of Sideshow and and HCG busts , and all I used was paper towels and finger nail polish purchased at the store the stuff , took time and was exhausting rubbing the black off to make the chrome , but sorry , just seen this thread for the first time to respond....but it does great....congrats on a terminator Holy Grail Piece
