Help ID ALIEN (1979) Hypersleep Sandals

Hello! I have been replaying Alien Isolation lately. I noticed in the hypersleep chamber, there are some gray/silver sandals. I hadn't noticed these in the original film, but sure enough, I found a photo online with them in frame.

Anyone notice these before? Wondering if they are off the shelf or custom made. Anyone have any knowledge on these? Thanks

Maybe, yeah. I've found some similar stuff from a company called Nasta. They did various superhero themed sandals in the 70s

Close; the soles are too thick on those compared to the ones in the pic. There's so many pics without them and we don't see the actors actually walking with them...frustrating

There is a shot of John Hurt wearing them in a deleted scene, but it's not much better quality-wise. Weird how this is my latest obsession lol
