The Assistant Prop Master in question is Arthur ‘Art’ Shippee. He’s still with us but as far as I know no longer involved in the industry. Interestingly Art was the person who collected the gun (I never use the B word) from the gunsmith and delivered it to the set as he was the only one available on the day who had a firearms licence.Is that propmaster still around? He would have the background info on the blaster!
