Help Icons prototype luke rotj?

Hello,
A friend of mine just bought what he hopes is an ICONS prototype rotj.
Can anyone help shed some information on this piece Star Wars ROTJ 1:1 Luke Skywalker Lightsaber Prop Replica Prototype from Icons? | eBay .

Looks to me like a J&E ROTJ saber. These were produced in Canada, I believe, in around 2003 or so... I don't believe the saber in the auction is an Icons product, even a prototype.

I agree with propstuf, this looks to me like the old J&E ROTJ saber...
It may not be an Icons but still a fantastic saber to have in the collection as it did precede the MR... It certainly has historical value and quality.
This is a piece I would love to have in my collection along with the Obi.
I have not seen one of these in quite awhile so a good find nevertheless in my opinion.

Sorry, but this is not the Icons ROTJ prototype. Which is accounted for an in a private collection. Only 1 was made. And was all metal.
