My friend asked me to make him an Amazing Spider-Man Mask.
This is my first time puff painting a project!

Can I get some tips? Do I paint all the lines or leave some to be sewn?
What looks better bigger lines or thinner lines for the Honeycomg pattern?

I am using Taylor's print.

Thanks to TJack for his frames, going to pain them when they are shaped :D!

Re: First Puff Paint Amazing Spiderman Mask Project!

I found that you need to go slightly heavier than you think as it soaks in and shrinks down some, too little and you just get a crispy fabric, too much and it looks bad. Its a lot harder than you think, I still have my arms to do as I messed them up. My advice don't use it straight from the bottle get a metal tip adapter and shake the bottles really well. I think what messed mine up was not shaking the bottles enough and my black was fine when it went on, but then quickly blotted away ruining the print.
I actually brought a PVA glue adapter with bottle and fine metal tip and just decant into that

Hey, hey, I'm just wondering where you would get a metal tip adapter for the puffy paint?

I got mine from finetip.co.uk
I got the bottle as well as I found by shaking up and decanting into the little bottle it is easier on your hand and also eliminates unmixed paint better

Updates: Finished most the Mask,
How far do I paint on the sides? Where the eyes are and the face and sides meet?

So I thought I'd update this. I ended up spilling water just when I was finished with the part. I had to order a new print form FOD and wait until last November to get it.
After alot of waiting and I painted and I sat there until this year stuff in life happened.
Last week I got it serged by a local seamstress and put together.
Painted some of Tjacks old ASM2 pink lenses and attached them :D! Finally done. My friend was understanding and happy as h*** to have it before the movie lol.
