Help? AVP Gauntlets?!?!

I need help! I'm making my first Pred costume and need to know how to make an AVP style Blade Gauntlet! I've seen Vinman's pics but... NEED HELP! Also what would you recommend to make armor look and feel hard like metal? Help is VERY appreciated and me being new is kinda embarrassing...

Well your best bet is to use the search function when possible,alot of people will get on your case if you just start posting all willy nilly.
But as for the armor,most people use "foamies" or "sintra",I prefer sintra,if painted right it will look very realistic. As for the blade gauntlet, you may want to check out this thread by master anubis,his turned out pretty awesome in my opinion.

thanks guys but i've already got the underside but need to know how to make the top and a mechanism (maybe something with springs) to make the wrist blades shoot out quickly! I've seen this video and am thinking about something like it! Now I know it's NOT a predator wrist blade, but the springs and mechanisms are quite cool!

YES!!!! I found something useful!!!! Here's a bladed gauntlet using Vinman's template for the bottom, but THIS is the top I wanted!!!! Now... how to make it...???

"Foamies" Where can you get them? I know how to use them but don't know where to get them...
