Hellboy prop related question...BEER!

Okay, so I've decided to hang on to my lifesize Hellboy (at least for a little while as the GF LOVES it). I'm currently doing lots of upgardes to him. I couldn't figure out what to do with his left hand so... (MINOR SPOILERS!!!)

















...in the new movie, he drinks Tecate. So I'm going to stick a 6 pack in his hand. Obviously he's drinking Tecate light, but in the movie I believe the letters are BLUE. I picked up some yesterday and they are RED. The owner of the liquor store said that Tecate LIGHT is a fairly new product and that as far as he knows, the letters are red not blue.
Obviously (for whatever reason) the cans in the movie have blue letters. Is it worth me going the extra mile and repainting the letters on the cans or leave them red? Personally, I SERIOUSLY doubt that anyone would notice (or care) but the girlfriend wants to take on that project herself as she feels it's crucial. What do you guys think? Is it worth the time and trouble?

Would it be possible to redo the graphics on the can in a photo editing program then print it on clear decal film? You could then clean off the original graphics down to bare aluminum and apply the new decal.
