Hasbro Tie Interceptor Questions

Does anyone know if the current Hasbro Tie Interceptor uses the same mold for the wings as the old vintage Tie Interceptor from Kenner?

And are they interchangable?

And are the current wings a soft vinyl or rigid plastic?

I have the version with the red stripes, I think is the TRU exclusive? It has the vinyl wings, and as far as I know, all the wings can be interchanged. The mount on them seem to be the same size/design,but I dont have the vintage one to confirm this.

I have the new Hasbro TIE Interceptor as well, and yes...it has the vinyl (not certain if "vinyl" is the exact name of the material) wings too. Both wings have a slight curvature either from packaging or removing it from the mold before it had cooled completely.

Thanks guys. Not happy that it seems like the same soft plastic as the Tie Bombers wings though. Oh well. Beggers can't be choosers.
