I am building the Tie and doing my best to make it as close to the filming miniature as possible. I have installed a faux armeture. I am now working ona cockpit tub.

I did my best to replicate the original donor parts. The gap up front at the instrument panel will be filled.

Pay close attention the the wing hubs, the instructions are wrong. I realized it to late. The inner and outer hubs need to be alighed properly using the real model as ref, not the instructions.

I hope to get back to it this week. I am spending a lot of time on the studio scale tie bomber

LAsers and engines are lit, some how I burned one out while testing: even though they are shielded from each other. Gremlins. I replaced the bad one and gathered wires and step down buck into the ball. A view through the back looks convincinly like the studio scale model. Next up filling gaps.

Everything is fine. I just am too much of a coward to make it work.

I had the clear plastic guns pretty good, until I went to far and one of them shattered. Should follow your lead and use brass.
