Two questions

First: Did you guys ship my order? I'm asking because I've gotten a delivery notice and I don't know what it's for or who it's from. It's signature required, and I haven't been able to except the package because they always come to deliver it while I'm at work.

Second: I think that at one point there was talk of doing the engine bays and maintenance hatches, is that still a thing?

I think Mike hasn't shipped yet the 9th Batch orders...

By now maintenance hatches and engine bays are not planned. Some time ago we were talking about a new run of upgrades with boarding ramp, entrance corridor and other items.

Mike has the word on that. He told me that he will be shipping all the missing parts and new cone for all the guys. He has started casting these parts at a slow pace so it will be shipping one of these days. I don't know it exactly. I will urge Mike to explain me his plans about that matter.

Mike will start sending the bonus parts to the batches 1 to 5 in two, three weeks. And of course, the missing parts too.

After that, the rest of guys will start receiving progressively the bonus parts...

I bought MrDickJones' kit and he said he would send me the updated parts when they came, but I just want to be sure what I am waiting on. @MrDickJones

I apologize if this has been asked before and I missed it, but can anyone tell me where I can find reasonably accurate castings of the various recessed service pits? I was told that someone here on the forum is offering them, but I cannot figure out who/where. I did not find any on Shapeways either, which I found a bit surprising considering everything else that is there, but maybe it's because the cost would be prohibitive.

EDIT: By the way thank you for offering this conversion kit! My parts arrived in good shape and look great. I can't wait to use them to build my Falcon!

My parts just came in and they look great. Are we supposed to cut out the blank sidewalls, or just put these in front of the blank sidewalls?

If you want you can glue directly over the blank sidewalls.

If you want to work a little bit more you can do a recess, to have a deeper look on the sidewalls, and cut the blank stock sidewalls.
In this case you will need to use some styrene sheets to fill the empty spaces.
