Limited Run Hasbro Millennium Falcon Resin Kit

with bated breath i'm looking for pics of an assembled kit, anyone? i've gone thru the thread but only see individual parts which look gorgeous.

Mine came in today. It was postmarked the 25th. My mailbox is relieved. A little bubbly in a few areas and a little detail broken off a few pieces but overall very, very nice. I can definitely work with it. Minimal warpage to the radar - an easy fix. With the right cleanup and a little surgery, these will make for a Class A Falcon.

Thanks Mike & Tony.

Here are the pix of the 'Level Two' package I promised (click for pop-up view then click again for full size image):

NOTE: Tony has corrected me; the parts I've labelled as 'cockpit tube top details' are the 'upper sidewall jawbox details'. I'll have to research the actual location for these parts.

Plus some closeups:

If this is too much, please let me know & I'll edit this post.

I forgot to include the two tiny parts that are supposed to correct the upper hull detail between the jawbox sides and the larger 'chassis box', aka overlap, details. But they are pretty small and just really shapes...

These parts are the upper detail of the sidewall jawboxes.

Many thanks for sharing!

Many of my parts are not that clean. I must have gotten a later pull. Not bad enough to ask for replacements, but mine show more mold wear.

Hey Guys, sorry i have not been following this thread until just now. A couple of quick things.

First i do apologize for the slow roll out of batch 5 and 6. Summer heat, kids home for the summer, and an absolutely HUGE (but currently secret) project really slowed things down for me since June. Everyone's who has paid with 1 exception has shipped out.

Secondly, these parts are very tough on molds, so have been almost constantly remolding parts as i go along. A bad part may have made it's way into a box without me noticing it. If a part is really unworkable, please let me know i will replace it.

Third, the headlight upgrades and new cockpit for Batches 1 thru 5 will get casting up as soon as we get out of this 90 degree super humid weather, which seems to have been plaguing me for a month at least.

I will be making yet another full set of molds for this and the other parts i have on hand, like the landing ramp etc. as soon as i can. My youngest is now in Kindergarten and my schedule should even out for the first time in 5 years, i hope to be much more consistent with shipping/communication.
thanks
mike

MIKE S. ,I know I haven't ordered any of these parts from you, due to ongoing things and a divorce , but Mike , even though I am awaiting on parts from the Viper kit, which I know you have things holding you back.....that is life...everyone knows , you Are Good For Your Word....no need for apologies.....this heat is every persons nightmare, when it comes to resin, and I am sure these folks here are grown up enough and understanding for this type of setback and heat dilemma , Mike your work has always come thru, and I for one , am understanding , with having a family life , projects , models , etc....in this heat...so things will and continue to get held up, until this awful humidity causes some serious problems....I am with you on this....and if I have to wait for parts , like everyone else, then that , is the way it is....I would rather wait to get my Viper parts once the heat dies down , so the parts come out right the first time, saves you time and frustration , and money , and lessens the chance for a deformed or warped part due to heat....so I hope these guys , will understand , and see the bigger picture with all this.....Also as soon as I ever can afford it, I still plan on trying to order a full kit from you and Tony....no need for apologies once again sir

Finding ref pics for this area is difficult. But here's a decent one:

Edit: crap. that's a bmp. Lemme see if I can find another or convert.

Edit: There. Luckily I still have MSPaint.

Cliff, I don't see the parts that we're trying to track down... might you use Paint to draw a circle around it in the picture?

Thanks for sharing!

Just a heads up.

Mike will start casting the 7th batch at the end of September. He's involved in another project and he needs some time. Sorry for the delay.

The guys of the eight batch will be invoiced when October starts, more or less. Don't forget to PM me with your data, please.

Many thanks for your support!

Hi Tom.

By now Mike will be casting this kit until the end of October, more or less, to finish the nine batch of kits that we have at this moment.
After that we will start with a second kit of upgrades with the boarding ramp, the entrance corridor, figurines, etc.
After this date for sure that Mike can cast a few more if someone is interested in.

Many thanks for your interest Tom.

Cheers
