Hasbro Black Series Rogue One Stormtrooper Helmet

Mine fits just right but I have a pea head, I've heard most people like to take the nose piece out. But Good job on the weathering, I've been debating on doing it to mine, maybe I will buy another one after my shadow trooper shows up.

Got mine this past Sunday and already started doing a few modifications to it -

1) Removed the straps and replaced them with Skydex pads for better fit

2) Removed the screws on both the black and white brackets to take out the blacked out areas of the teeth and to remove the nose piece, then screwed the white bracket back on that retains the mic in place

3) Glued in black screen material for the teeth area.

I might replace the lenses, but I do have to say it is a pretty nice bucket on a budget for sure :)

My Amazon notice said November 3rd-5th for shipping. *sigh* Been waiting since their originally-estimated mid-October for an update. I want to have it in my hands to get a real sense of it, dammit...

anybody else worried about the Amazon UK order?

the price seemed too good to be true!

I'm confused? The price on Amazon UK for the helmet is £135.84...that's not good!

edit...I see what your saying now.

I think the best bet now for the helmet is TRU at £79.99. They have been showing up slowly at some stores.

that's not sold by Amazon though... it's just a reseller using their site.

I payed £59.65 direct from Amazon, with free postage a few weeks ago, and it sold out within hours. just waiting for delivery! hopefully they will get them soon!

Did you feel it necessary to expoxy the three pieces of the helmet together, or did you just snap it as per the directions? Been hesitating putting mine together because I was under the impression it'll need some glue to minimize the seams.

Some people are gluing it BUT even when you DON'T use glue when you snap it together it is VERY challenging to pull apart.

Also, my shadow trooper shipped!

Totally agree karmajay on that one, I just snapped it together, they lock up really nice so I really didn't see the necessity for any glue.

It definitely makes a Great Bucket on a Budget, might get the Shadow Trooper one as well now :)

I saw Onegin Target and another in Toys r us . These appear to be plentiful enough, but I wouldn't hold out too long. Who knows when they will run out and no longer be restocked, but my guess is that won't happen until after Christmas and the release of Rogue One.
