Actually 4 months is what they quoted in their latest response. So they are actually saying that something that was supposedly in the country 3 months ago is still going to take at least another 3 months be for they ship? That is wrong on so many levels.
Here is an update from today entitled: The Complex Burden of Accuracy
The Complex Burden of Accuracy - ANOVOS Productions LLC
Basically, they are trying to justify why everything takes so long because they want everything to be perfect.
That doesn't really explain why it's going to take them 3 months to ship out 500 Discovery phasers that are sitting in their warehouse right now. Can they only ship out 5 a day or what?
Here's 270 pages of reasons why right here and that's only from members from a small forum AND only one thread out of a few.Why is this a bad thing? You view that as a negative? How?
There are countless examples of companies that operated contrary to customer expectations, recognized change was needed and took steps to achieve better results. Why would you want them to fail? because that is the prime interpretation of your comment, that you'd prefer people didn't order from them which has the logical conclusion of the company no longer operating. So please tell me how that is more advantageous than a company making improvements and thriving with consumers benefiting from that change.
A lot of those posts and in others don't discount the quality of the Anovos products, they actually applaud their accuracy and details. But it also details their lack of customer service, lack of delivery for paid items and services, lack of long term and short term planning, lack of being able to outsource from leadership and their delegation. It's all a trickle-down effect that is a basic and simple economics model that should work easily in this hobby/field but clearly it hasn't and they openly have stated this in their recent letters. If it did work they would have been able to meet all orders on time and had a surplus. Under promise and over deliver. Not hard to follow. The number of pages a thread has is meaningless and statistically inconsequential as you can have multiple posts from a single user expressing the same viewpoint through varying verbiage. If you cherry pick through that topic and pull out the top 100 consumer opinions that blast the company and highlight their EVERY flaw, this in no way shape or form constitutes a rationalization that a company and the consumer are better served by that companies closure than by their improvement. At best, it shows a mere fraction, as you earlier alluded to, of their customer base and as we all know, consumers are quicker to voice concerns over a companies failings than they are to express accolades for doing well. I've still not read anything that supports the notion that it's more advantageous for Anovos to become insolvent than to improve and supply the very props this community desires.
Apparently, they only ship 2 days a week because they don't have a full-time shipping staff, they are only part-time.
Thank God! I thought it would have been for some stupid reason!
