In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, Harry, Ron , Hermione , Griphook, and Dobby disapparate from Malfoy Manor when Bellatrix throws her dagger at Dobby. The dagger is cought in the area where they are disapparating from and it is exposed to all five to them. When we see them at Shell Cottage, Dobby is the unfortunate one, as we all know. (Griphook also has a sharp weapon, The Sword of Gryffindor) So someone could've been stabbed besides Dobby.

At one point in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Griphook, I believe (or at some other point in the movie) has the sword in his/her hand while disapparating from Shell Cottage/somewhere with Harry and company. The sword is also exposed to all of them so how come nobody was stabbed with the sword when it was completely exposed?

Items that are being held apparate normally with the person carrying it, like if you were carrying a book or something.

Specifically, the knife actually hit Dobby the instant before he disapparated. The way they portrayed it in the film didn't really mesh with what happened in the book.

What do you mean by "exposed" exactly? The twisty-warpy effect in the films is just a visual, the people's bodies are not actually doing that. The version in Order of the Phoenix, where the twins apparate downstairs, is more accurate to what it's supposed to look like, I think (they simply "blink" into existence), but it's not as interesting an effect.
