Animatronic „Monster Book of Monsters“ from Harry Potter

Ok, after my introduction will post our latest project. A full animatronic from Harry Potter! We build a „Monster Book of Monsters“ with real fur, movement and sound…

First we glued an old big book and milled inside. Afterwards we printed all the tentacles, mouth and eyes. Next step we lasered a boar fur matching to the book and the „greeblies“. Finally we put on the paintjob with airbrush and added eyes. Teeth were coated with real ceramic. In last step we added the first motor and speaker for sound. Next step we lasered the leather belt and installed the replica buckle from Draco Malfoy which we bought from Etsy…

Afterwards we milled the display and cage. In last step we installed last motor on the display.

Now we have a jumping, growling and biting book

Most excellent! One of the best replicas I've seen.
Great cage as well. It really adds a lot to the whole thing.
